Biographical Info
The Clinical Pastoral Education Center of Pittsburgh (CPECP) offers online/virtual CPE to individuals in the Pittsburgh Metro area or globally. Students develop pastoral skills at an internship site of their choice, preparing to provide effective, compassionate care across various settings. CPECP’s programs support the development of counseling skills while promoting personal and pastoral identity through theological and interpersonal reflection. Operating from an interfaith perspective, CPECP welcomes students from diverse faith backgrounds, valuing their beliefs, cultures, and practices, and fostering deep respect for the unique identities of its faculty, fellow students, and those they serve.

Biographical Info
STOTS offers two opportunities for CPE each year, but neither is open to the general public. First – each summer term – STOTS offers an accredited 12-week intensive unit for select (matriculated) Master of Divinity students in between their second and third years. The unit is held in concurrence with enrollment in the requisite second-year summer parish internship experience for Master of Divinity students. Second – during the Fall semester each year, STOTS offers an accredited 16-week extended unit to alumni clergy. At this time, there are no exceptions to either the “alumni” or “clergy” prerequisites for application to this Fall unit.
