Biographical Info

The Hospice Chaplaincy Resource Center offers a comprehensive educational experience that encompasses the fundamentals of the Action-Reflection-Action model of CPE, a format that fosters a sense of safety for students to present verbatim and other written/verbal exercises, and didactics that provide essential information for students to succeed in the hospice/healthcare environments. Dr. Behers has 18 years of experience in hospice care, authored “Spiritual Care For People Living With Dementia Using Multisensory Interventions,” and has published a number of hospice-focused articles.  Graduates of the program comment that they felt prepared to either enter the field of chaplaincy, and their current chaplaincy was vastly improved.
