Biographical Info
Georgia Theological University’s CPE program operates at two locations—East in Huntsville, Alabama, and West in Sacramento, California—and is supervised by:

Georgia Theological University is a Christian institution dedicated to the academic, spiritual, and ministerial formation of leaders who serve both the Church and society. Our mission is to prepare chaplains, Christian mentors, and pastoral counselors through structured theological education and practical ministerial training.
We provide education in pastoral counseling, ministerial leadership, chaplaincy, and ecclesiastical studies, equipping students to serve in churches, communities, hospitals, correctional facilities, and outreach ministries. Our programs integrate biblical foundations, theological scholarship, and applied counseling skills, enabling graduates to minister with wisdom, compassion, and ethical responsibility.
As a university, we focus on the holistic development of each student—spiritually, academically, and ministerially—forming servants who are capable of offering guidance, care, and hope to individuals and families through Christian counseling, mentoring, and pastoral care. Our work is rooted in Scripture, guided by Christian values, and directed toward service inside and outside the church context.
