ChaplainLink LLC offers online/virtual training. Founded by Dr. Rick L. Wright and Doug Hamilton, ChaplainLink utilizes the action-reflection model, which enables students to learn how to integrate faith, compassion, and presence in real-world ministry. It welcomes participants from all faith backgrounds and offers professional growth in both clinical and community-based settings. Training is provided through a 16-week Online/Virtual modality for CPEI CPE Courses 100-400. Those who complete the Certificate in CPE (1,600 hours) may qualify for credentialing/certification as a board-certified chaplain, provided they meet other educational requirements.

We emphasize spiritual care across the aging continuum, from rehabilitation to memory care. City Seminary, based in Sacramento, California, offers online Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) training rooted in the historic Christian orthodoxy and Reformed Confessional tradition. While our theological foundation is clear, we welcome students from all religious and faith perspectives.
Our mission is to equip bi-vocational pastors for chaplain ministry, with training that emphasizes the practical application of CPE principles for effective, compassionate service. Students join us from diverse denominational backgrounds and ministry contexts, including police departments, Major League Baseball teams, inner-city hospitals, and suburban hospices.

The Clinical Pastoral Education Center of Pittsburgh (CPECP) offers online/virtual CPE to individuals in the Pittsburgh Metro area or globally. Students develop pastoral skills at an internship site of their choice, preparing to provide effective, compassionate care across various settings. CPECP’s programs support the development of counseling skills while promoting personal and pastoral identity through theological and interpersonal reflection. Operating from an interfaith perspective, CPECP welcomes students from diverse faith backgrounds, valuing their beliefs, cultures, and practices, and fostering deep respect for the unique identities of its faculty, fellow students, and those they serve.

CIU has a longstanding commitment to chaplaincy education and prepares students for ministry in healthcare, military, institutional, and other specialized settings.

Community Chaplain Network, Inc. (CCN) is a 501(c)(3) Non-profit corporation that offers online/virtual and in-person CPE training. CCN is also a network of chaplains around the world, providing chaplain care teams to local businesses on a weekly and monthly basis. Founded by Scott D. Speight, an approved CPEI Training Supervisor-Educator, CCN welcomes participants from diverse faith backgrounds and gives opportunities for personal and professional growth in both clinical and community-based settings. Scott’s background in the military, marriage and family therapy, coaching, and leadership training allows for a diverse learning experience.
Training is offered through a 12- and 16-week Online/Virtual modality for CPEI CPE (CPE 100-400) and Supervisory Education Courses (SEC 600-900). Those who complete the Certificate in CPE (1,600 hours) may qualify for credentialing as a board-certified chaplain or CPEI Supervisory-Educator, provided they meet other educational requirements.

CC of NWA, LLC offers a hybrid Clinical Pastoral Education for students unable to train exclusively in hospital settings. Through partnerships in the NWA Region, students complete clinical and parish-based ministry hours. A six-member advisory committee of clinicians and chaplains provides guidance.
Founder and CPE Supervisor Scott Martin, board-certified since 2019, trained with CPEI in 2021. He has served as a hospice chaplain, pediatric chaplain with Arkansas Children’s Hospital, and currently with Agape Care Group in Oklahoma. Scott and his family live in Prairie Grove, Arkansas.

CPE@ChIME – The Chaplaincy Institute of Maine is a community of Compassionate Learning and Service that offers virtual/online CPE with a strong emphasis on trauma and crisis ministry. We support students pursuing CPE 100–9000 courses as individuals, prepare individuals who wish to be credentialed as chaplains, those who wish to engage in educational and supervisory roles, and individuals who need Chaplaincy training as part of their ordination process. ChIME CPE fosters growth in self-awareness, ministry competence, and theological understanding. ChIME CPE works with the individual to ensure a practical implementation of the studies conducted during theological studies across the spectrum, so that individuals called into the practical ministry of Chaplaincy may be properly trained for their future. Areas of focus include hospitals, hospice, and behavioral health/psychiatric care.
